MODBUS
Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU, both supported by our MRU, are widely adopted, standardized communication protocols commonly used in industrial automation and control systems.
MODBUS TCP – A widely used industrial communication protocol based on the standard MODBUS, adapted to run over TCP/IP networks for remote monitoring and control.
MODBUS RTU – A serial communication protocol commonly used in industrial automation, operating over RS-232, RS-485, or similar serial interfaces for real-time data exchange.
See output variables list for a list of available output parameters these custom protocols can output.
